UM NMC AWARDED ROSALIE GINSBERG AWARD
April 2008. The Ginsberg Center is pleased to announce that the University of Michigan School of Nursing’s Nurse Managed Centers have been selected to receive the Rosalie Ginsberg Award for Outstanding University Program. This award is given to an academic or co-curricular program that demonstrates excellence in creating, developing, or sustaining opportunities to combine social action and learning.
VOLUNTEER INTERPRETERS AND TRANSLATORS NEEDED
Bi-lingual volunteers are needed to serve as translators/interpreters for the clinics of the University of Michigan School of Nursing Nurse Managed Centers.
No experience necessary.
Proficiency in English and a second language is required.
All volunteers will have the opportunity for training in the Bridge the Gap Interpreter Training Program and receive a certificate upon completion.

NMC LOGO WINS DESIGN AWARD
Nurse Managed Center's "heart with swirls" logo was given an American Graphic Desgin Award for 2006, "Excellence in Communication and Graphic Design" by Graphic Design USA. Our logo was designed by Becky Winkler, Luna Design.
MAPLE MEADOWS FINALISTS FOR KATHLEEN POWERS COLLABORATION AWARD
2003: Maple Meadows Outreach Clinics, with its partner Ann Arbor Public Housing were finalists for the Kathleen Powers Collaboration award from Non-Profit enterprise at Work(NEW).
